What should I expect with each active rehab session?
Upon completion of our assessment, we’ll book you in for regular weekly active rehab sessions at our facility in Downtown Abbotsford that will range between 60 and 70 minutes each. For the full session, one of our registered kinesiologists will guide you through an exercise rehab program that is designed specifically for your unique issues. Most of our clients attend 2 or 3 times per week for the duration of their treatment.
How do I get started?
First, give us a call or stop by and we can chat about your situation and the issues that were caused by the accident. From there, we’ll get in touch with your ICBC adjustor and/or lawyer and seek approval for coverage of your expenses via direct billing. Next, we’ll put you through our Medical Exercise Assessment where we’ll go through a series of physiological movement tests to determine the best way to get you back to your pre-accident condition.
How many sessions will ICBC pay for?
Every case is different. We’ll make recommendations to ICBC and we can obtain a referral for our services from your family doctor, but it mostly depends on the severity of your injuries and the circumstances of your claim. We’ve had cases where the individual was approved for as few as 5 or 6 active rehab sessions and we’ve had clients whose expenses were covered for over a year.
How many sessions will my recovery take?
It all depends on the severity of your issues. We’ve spent over 18 years applying our methods and we've seen an exceptional level of success helping individuals resolve pain and restore their functional capacity after injury.
